Matt Borcina completed his apprentice to journeyman program in 1991 and graduated as a Journeyman Wireman. Immediately following his graduation he worked for 8 solid years as an Electrical Foreman for for a large electrical contractor with experience on such projects as traffic signal, highway and parkway lighting and fiber optic cable for the Long Island Expressway. The company was contracted by the the Department of Transportation and Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

In 1999 Matt founded MC Electric where in the past 3 years has established the company as a reliable and stable name in the lighting and electrical field serving Nassau and Suffolk Counties of Long Island and surrounding areas.

Matt prides himself on attention to detail and stands by his company's ability to design and install each and every project. Matt Borcina and his work crews are with you every step of the way no matter what size the project.
